IRSE Examination Terms & Conditions - Updated August 2026

Summary of the main additions to the T&Cs for August 2026 is referenced below:

11.3.

The Remote Proctoring functionality will, amongst other things,:  

• Monitor the use of communication and listening devices such as headphones and microphones. Candidates must allow the Remote Proctoring software to access their microphone and must not wear headphones. 

The practice sessions have Remote Proctoring functionality to give candidates a full exam experience. The output of the remote proctoring is not monitored for these practice sessions. 

11.6.    

The candidate agrees that they will not seek to gain unfair advantage during the examination by opening or consulting with any text books, previously prepared notes, study materials, internet sites, AI apps/programmes or any other sources of information or reference.
